Research into creative space

What is creative space? Are there identifiable types of creative space? How best can it be incorporated into urban design to promote synergies with the surrounding city? These are just some of the questions our new research project in collaboration with the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and the City of Frankfurt am Main will be examining. Building on the ideas of the “Masterplan for Frankfurt am Main’s Creative Economy” (see March 2021) we will be working together to produce a typological study investigating the typologies of Creative Space in an urban context, with the aim of producing recommendations for how best creative space should be incorporated into new urban quarters.
